Doing something with soul, creativity and love, leaving something of yourself in your work. This is the meaning of iMeraki. This name was chosen because this is how we feel about our work.
When I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to be in the beauty industry. I always dreamed of having a beautiful spa, full of people who share my passion.
I started my journey when I graduated from FET Goldfields College as a beauty therapist in 2010.
I started my first job working as a Clarins consultant at Foschini. I built up experience in sales and how to assist clients with their skincare and makeup needs.
I wanted more and joined a cruise ship in 2012, which taught me so much. It was a truely fun, but hard working experience.
In 2016 I was blessed with my own spa. Since then I have been on quite a journey, where I opened a small salon in Virginia in 2018 and on 1 August 2019 I opened another salon in Reitz.
As the year went by, I felt the urge to pursue another one of my dreams which was to teach others some of my skills.
I contacted Crystal Clawz and became a trainer and distributor for them in January 2020. Through my twelve year journey in the industry, my love and passion has not faded.
Every client I meet, every set of nails I do, I just have the satisfying feeling of being blessed to know I love what I do , and I can do what I love.
I love being in a position where I can share my passion and knowledge with others.

Looking back to the time I decided to become a Beauty Therapist seems so far away. I remember dreaming of owning a successful spa with lots of inspiring and empowering individuals around me. I have worked hard, put in lots of hours and I still do to keep it that way and I love it.
I love working with people, getting to know them and their history. Being compassionate and caring and just being the picker upper in your day is what makes my day. Knowing I let someone feel beautiful and worth it after their treatment with me gives me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that I did my job. I have great passion for every aspect of my career and just started pursuing the journey of educating to be able to share the passion.
The meaning of the name I chose for my business says it all, Meraki- doing something with soul, creativity and love. Leaving a part of yourself in your work. This is very important, because as you know- if you love what you do, you won’t work a day in your life. Love what you do- Do what you love.
I will be the first face you meet when coming to the spa. I am passionate about my work and I am an incredible multi-tasker. I am very efficient and great with time management. So when you are looking for an appointment, best you call the spa and get in touch with me- I will hook you up. I enjoy working with people and I love problem-solving, being helpful and being informative. I can’t wait to meet you, whether it be on the phone or in person.
I’m a social media marketing designer that believes in having a good time while doing what I love. I enjoy taking problems and turning them into simple and beautiful designs. I believe growing your online presence should feel awesome not overwhelming. When I am not designing you will find me at a friend’s place having a blast.
